About the Instructor

Instructor: Francisco Velasco CNMT, CCT

Certifications: Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology with 30-year experience in Nuclear Cardiology (SPECT and PET imaging) and Stress Testing. Also certified as Cardiac Technician with 25-year experience in EKG interpretation.

Understands the anatomy and physiology of the heart and the circulatory system as well as the different testing modalities used.

While I was working for Memorial Hermann hospital in Houston, Texas USA I had the opportunity to learn from the best cardiologists in the subject of Nuclear Cardiology, stress testing and EKG interpretation. Now 25 years later I am still learning from the most experienced cardiologists on the field. It gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience the excitement that the field of cardiology offers and now I am sharing this knowledge and excitement with you.
